I don't have any Copics for skin tones so I had to break out my Prismacolor pencils. I forgot how much more work it is to color with those! By the time I finished coloring little Harriet, I was tired and so this card is pretty simple. Now off to shop for some new Copics.

Betsy's Card Creations Challenge
Betsy Veldman has a challenge on her blog right now to pick a non-holiday card from the pages of Card Creations Vol. 8 and create a holiday card based on that design. I'm not a big Christmas card maker but this seemed like a fun way to use my new stamp set from Waltzingmouse.
I used this Missing You Trees Card by Renee Morris-Dezember, pg. 87

September Papertrey Pages Challenge
The challenge this month was to create a page using only paper, paint and ink.

In April 2009, my husband and I made a side trip to Barcelona for a few days after visiting his family in Madrid. It was his birthday so we stayed at a beautiful hotel right on Las Ramblas. We spent an entire morning walking through this wonderful market sampling the fruit, chocolate, wine and other goodies.
Supplies:
Stamps: Waltzingmouse Very Vintage Labels No. 4, Gel-a-tins Build Your Own Paisley
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Paper: PTI Dark Chocolate, 7 Gypsies Karma, Prism Paper cardstock
Other: Daisyd's Gypsy Harvest quotes, embossing powder

PTI September Blog Hop
This is my first time participating in the PTI Blog Hop since they changed the rules so us girls in Europe can participate!

The challenge this month was to show off any skill you might have learned from a fellow stamper.
I have been following Jennifer McGuire ever since I can remember and she is actually the one who introduced me to PTI with these little cuties. I decided to use her embossing powder technique video for this card:

This is a pretty simple technique and I don't know why I never thought of using more than one color of embossing powder at a time before.
I also have to give a shout out to Michelle Wooderson (Mish) since I used her sketch from the September PTI newsletter.

Operation Write Home
I found out about Operation Write Home from the Hero Arts blog. I participated in their Birthday Bash last weekend and finally got my cards all packaged up and in the mail yesterday. Thought I would show a few that I made.
