The challenge this month was to show off any skill you might have learned from a fellow stamper.
I have been following Jennifer McGuire ever since I can remember and she is actually the one who introduced me to PTI with these little cuties. I decided to use her embossing powder technique video for this card:

This is a pretty simple technique and I don't know why I never thought of using more than one color of embossing powder at a time before.
I also have to give a shout out to Michelle Wooderson (Mish) since I used her sketch from the September PTI newsletter.
Supplies:
Stamps: PTI Round & Round, PTI Mega Mixed Messages, Hero Arts Flourish Background
Ink: VersaMark
Cardstock: PTI Lemon Tart, PTI Scarlet Jewel, PTI Terracotta Tile, Neenah Classic Solar White
Other: embossing powder

Oh wow...I have GOT to try this. It's just fabulous. I love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great technique to highlight! Love that idea and never think to do that myself!

ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment on my blog, and to answer your question (don't know why I didn't include it in the post, DOH!), I used the 3 smallest dies, and in order from the smallest, it was 2, 3, 2 for the layers.
